A note on FastSpring's own "entitlement" features
FastSpring's platform can pass subscription status back to control product access at a basic, catalog level. That's useful for simple on/off access — it is not a substitute for Zentitle's runtime entitlement engine: per-feature gating, offline and air-gapped enforcement, floating/node-locked licensing, and real-time usage caps enforced inside the product itself. The two are complementary layers, not overlapping ones.
